TACTICAL GAMES GEAR LIST — MANDATORY & RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT

Primary Weapon

Minimum .223 caliber rifle with approved muzzle device. Muzzle brakes and compensators are not approved unless covered by a blast forward device or suppressor.

Secondary Weapon

Pistol.

Ammunition

250 rounds for each weapon system. Round count is subject to change and will be communicated in event emails.

Magazines

Minimum of 5 magazines for rifle and 5 for pistol recommended. Expect to run up to five for each weapon system per stage.

Magazine Pouches

Holster

Slings

Must be worn throughout the entirety of the match.

Chamber Flag

For rifle, must be inserted any time the competitor is not at the firing line.

Plate Carrier

Women's plate carriers must weigh 5.4 kg; men's must weigh 6.8 kg. Weight is measured with NO magazine pouches, attachments, tourniquets or hydration bladders. The plate carrier must be slick.

Ear & Eye Protection

Must be worn for all shooting stages.

Belt

Holster must be carried at or around hip level. Drop-leg holsters are authorized.

Red Dot Sight

Permitted for all divisions.

Secondary Powered Optics

Allowed on rifles.

Tactical Pants

Durable, flexible, capable of holding gear.

Tactical Shirt

Moisture-wicking, comfortable.

Boots / Trail Shoes

Durable, supportive, ankle-high preferred.

Gloves

Protective, good grip.

Knee Pads

For protection during crawling, kneeling and rope climbs.

Hat / Cap

Optional sun protection.

Sunscreen

Tent / Canopy / Folding Chairs
